Almelo House Independent Living Scheme, has undergone a significant refurbishment, enhancing communal spaces through tenant involvement and creating a brighter, welcoming environment for all.

A selection of tenants will be asked to share their views and experiences about our services. This is for our latest Tenant Satisfaction Measures Survey.

This year, we are celebrating Community Gateway’s 20th birthday by giving back to our communities through 20 community projects. Our latest project focused on fly-tipping and anti-social behaviour in North Ribbleton.

As we move into Spring, we are taking the opportunity to look back on what we achieved in year two of our Corporate Plan and share our key priorities for year three, as we continue working to improve our homes, services and communities.

We have recently launched our new Tenant Voice Group and are inviting tenants to join. The group helps make sure tenant views are listened to, taken seriously and acted upon. It is an opportunity to help influence decisions and make a difference in your community.

Over the past year, our Independent Living Team has been busy making sure all our Telecare equipment is ready for the UK’s move to fully digital phone lines.

As we welcome in the new year, we are proud to look back on what we have achieved in 2025 at Community Gateway.  

Following feedback from tenants, we recently completed a long-standing clean-up project in Fishwick that has made a lasting difference to the local community.
