With nine acres of pumpkin fields to explore, plenty of colourful varieties to choose from, and picturesque photo spots throughout the site, it's the perfect autumn outing for families, friends, and pumpkin enthusiasts of all ages.

2026 marks their sixth year of opening the pumpkin patch, and Paul's Farm have grown lots of varieties for you to enjoy. They've also made improvements around the farm to help make your visit even better.

Whether you're joining for the first time or returning for another year of autumn fun, Paul's Farm can't wait to welcome you this October.

Enjoy a free tractor and trailer ride to the patch where you can pick your perfect pumpkin, fresh from the field. There's lots of fun things to enjoy, including face painting, games, a spooky shop, photo opportunities and much, much more!

Dogs are not permitted on site for pumpkin patch visits, with the exception of assistance dogs. This rule applies even if other dog-related activities are taking place elsewhere on the farm.

Head on down to Preston City Centre for a gathering of stalls like no other. Pick up delicious local goodies ranging from decadent cakes and handmade breads to an array of cheeses and locally distilled Gins.

As well as a mouth-watering assortment of foods, the market also hosts crafters of all varieties, making it the perfect place to pick up a treat for yourself or gifts for loved ones.

Don't miss the next market, complete with music and plenty of places to put your feet up and grab a drink when you're done.

This Makers Market takes place on the newly revitalised Friargate Brow, on the final Saturday of each month. 

Keep an eye out for this spooky roaming act as they creep, dance and entertain visitors throughout the market. Featuring plenty of fun, music and interactive antics, these friendly zombies are guaranteed to raise a smile rather than a scare!

Expect 100% vinyl all afternoon, spanning R&B, 60s soul, Motown, mod, ska, bluebeat and Northern soul.

Inspired by the late-50s and early-60s underground club scene, from Soho to the Twisted Wheel and beyond, Shake Yer Hips takes its name from the Slim Harpo track and has been running across Lancashire since before lockdown.

The focus remains on classic sounds from labels such as Stax, Atlantic and Motown.

Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

Please join the Right Worshipful Mayor of Preston, veterans, Armed Forces and others, in gathering around the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday.

A parade of armed forces members both current and veterans, cadets, dignitaries and others will walk around the city centre, ending at the Flag Market.

At the end of Sunday's service, there will be an opportunity for the public to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph.

At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month - we will remember them.

The Armistice, an agreement to end the fighting of the First World War as a prelude to peace negotiations, began at 11am on 11 November 1918.

Mark the day with a Two Minute Silence at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month at the Preston Cenotaph, after Remembrance Sunday on 9 November, where there will be a full civic service.

Kicking off the entertainment will be Preston's own Peter Gildernew, who will perform a couple of big songs for his adopted home town. Having performed in theatres across Ireland, Peter will bring his trademark energy to the Flag Market and get the Christmas celebrations started in style.

This Christmas, we invite everyone to join us in celebrating the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

We begin with a quiet, reflective service marking the start of Advent—a time to prepare our hearts and minds for the season. From there, the joy continues as the University of Lancashire Philharmonic Orchestra fills the air with festive spirit, performing well known winter classics alongside memorable themes from the Silver Screen.

Our celebrations continue with our Candlelit Carol Service with a traditional Nine Lessons and Carols lead by our talented musicians. Midnight Mass and Christmas Day Mass take us to the heart of Christmas.

Ran by St Catherine's Hospice. An informal group where anyone can come and chat, have a brew, and talk to others about their loss, whether their loved one has died recently or some time ago. It runs from 10:00-11:30 am on the first Thursday of the month.

There’s no need to book, and if you would like to bring a friend along for a bit of support then please do.

It’s not a counselling group and there’s no set structure to it, but anyone who wishes to introduce themselves and tell their story is welcome to; or if you would prefer to sit and listen that’s fine too.

Open every Tuesday morning 10 am-12 noon, The Community Pantry is intended to give relief to individuals/families who find themselves in immediate need and require assistance in providing basic food items for their household.
