Independent Living Activities Programme
One of our key aims is to create vibrant communities within our Independent Living Schemes. We are passionate about helping reduce loneliness and social isolation by offering a wide range of events and activities that bring our tenants together.
Over the past year, 324 tenants have taken part in several events. Monthly bingo at Baytree Farm continues to be a hit, with up to 40 tenants joining each session. The Summer Ball was a highlight, with 66 tenants dancing the night away, and the festive spirit was in full swing as 100 tenants celebrated Christmas at the Masonic Hall. Our music workshops and chair-based exercise sessions remain firm favourites, and who could forget the unforgettable night Elvis made a surprise appearance at The Atrium!
The feedback from our tenants says it all, attending these events helps them feel more connected, less isolated, and proud to be part of a supportive and friendly community.
