Community Gateway Association (CGA) was the first Housing Association in the country, to be established on the Community Gateway model. This means that tenants and Members of the community, living or working, in Gateway communities can have a direct say in the running of the organisation.

If you are a tenant with Community Gateway Association and have a Tenancy Agreement, you can become a Full Member. You will be invited to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and have the opportunity to vote on key policy areas related to the business of the organisation, and hold the organisation to account for the work it does.
If you have a Leasehold Agreement with Community Gateway you can become a Leaseholder Member and also attend the AGM and vote on important policy matters.
If you have an interest in Community Gateway Association but are not a tenant or leaseholder, you can become an Associate Member. You will be able to get involved in Action Groups, the development of policies and wider neighbourhood activity. You will not be able to vote.
Under 16s Members
If you are under 16 you can become an Under 16s Member. Each year there will be opportunities for you to take part in events and activities planned by CGA, related to communities, housing and the development of Preston. Under 16s are not able to vote at CGA's Annual General Meeting.
