Thursday 25th November marks the beginning of 16 Days of Action against Domestic Abuse – a national campaign aiming to end domestic violence.
Here at Community Gateway the safety and wellbeing of our customers and communities is paramount, which is why we will be providing information and support around a variety of safeguarding topics including county lines, domestic abuse, and mental health.
Come along to Harbour House on Friday 26th November anytime between 10am and 2pm to meet a range of agencies who will be there to support you and offer a range of information: Preston Domestic Violence Service, Red Rose Recovery, Preston Police, Inspire, and Mental Health Network to name a few. Please drop in at any time.
You will also receive a FREE goodie bag full of resources which you will be able to take around with you to collect extra material you find

Additional advice and support around safeguarding will also be available at a cookery class on Monday 29th November 1-3pm at Sahara (Fishwick Parade, Preston, PR1 4XQ). You can learn how to prepare a delicious meal to take home – why not bring your friends and make it together?
If you fancy something a little more relaxing, why not join our Ladies Pamper Night on Friday 3rd December 5:30-7:30pm? You will receive a FREE treatment (eyebrow wax & tint/gel nails) and the opportunity to seek support if you wish. This event will be held at Goddess House of Hair & Beauty (38 Miller Road, Preston, PR1 5QU). Transport can be provided for CGA tenants.
