GreenCare and Estates Services

 

At Community Gateway we believe that everyone has the right to live in clean, green, safe neighbourhoods. Our GreenCare team are responsible for checking, maintaining and helping to improve communal areas and open spaces around your home.

Estates Operatives visit blocks of flats with shared stairs and landings every month to carry out safety compliance checks, resolve any immediate concerns and clean the communal landings, stairways and gardens.

They also remove any fly-tipped waste and graffiti from Community Gateway land and open spaces and report any problems they are unable to immediately resolve to other Community Gateway teams such as Tenancy Management or PropertyCare (GPC) and to partner agencies where appropriate.
