Grounds Maintenance
In line with our service standards, we visit and inspect neighbourhoods to check that the communal areas are up to standard and to identify any issues.
During the summer season, the Grounds Maintenance team visit communal gardens and green spaces regularly to litter-pick, remove small-scale fly-tipping and cut grass. We also periodically treat weeds in grass edges and shrub beds and prune encroaching shrubs.
During the winter season, we reduce the height of hedges and remove debris such as litter, leaves and fallen twigs from hedge rows and shrub beds. Winter is also the time of year we plant spring flowering bulbs and shrubs to help the local wildlife and improve the appearance of green spaces.
