Double awards success at Northern Housing Awards 2022
Community Gateway are celebrating after winning two awards at The Northern Housing Awards at a fantastic ceremony at Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester on Wednesday night (17th May).
The first award was for ‘Supported/Sheltered Housing Scheme of the Year’ for our flagship extra care scheme, The Courtyards and the second award for our wonderful Purple Pantry in the ‘Resident Support/Advice Programme of the Year’ category.
CGA were also shortlisted for the following award:
- Best Approach to Employee Wellbeing, for our approach to the menopause
- We also nominated JFN Integrated Solutions for ‘Contractor of the Year’ for the great work they do for Gateway and Preston Vocational Centre.
Chief Executive Rob Wakefield said:
“I am delighted that CGA won two prestigious Northern Housing Awards. Being shortlisted for three awards against stiff competition was an excellent achievement in itself, so to take top spot in the Supported/Sheltered Housing Scheme of the Year and Resident Support/Advice Programme of the Year categories was the icing on the cake.
A big thank you to our colleagues, customers and partners for the hard work they do to support our customers and build strong and flourishing communities.
As the first Community Gateway Model in the country we are committed to listening to our customers and ensuring we provide the services they need and value, and it’s great that this has been recognised at the highest level.”
