David Brown

David has around three decades experience in UK housing. That includes posts within local authorities and private providers, and involvement with private sector renewal, homelessness, customer empowerment and neighbourhood management.

His current job role is as Director at Pine Court Housing Association, a community-based landlord in Liverpool. His responsibilities include management, monitoring and development of high-quality value for money services (including repairs and maintenance services); property investment/improvement programmes; risk management; finance; ICT; human resources; learning and development; health and safety; governance; and marketing/communication. These are clearly insights David brings to his Board post at CGA.

Previously, David has also been a Non-Executive Director of a community-based sports mentoring programmes and supported housing scheme, and he is currently a Non- Executive Director of Mandela8, a Merseyside based charity focussing on anti-racism and inclusion.
