Our Plan for Brookfield

Our community plans show how we will work with you to improve the places you live. Each plan is shaped by what matters most to you and reflects the priorities of your neighbourhood.

These plans are based on feedback from Shape Your Space events, pop-ups, surveys, day-to-day conversations, as well as what we see when we are out and about in your area

Upcoming projects to improve your community

Protecting Grass Verges

Tenants told us that grass verges are being damaged by parked and passing cars due to narrow roads, making the area look untidy and creating a safety risk. We will trial grasscrete in one of the worst affected areas to see if it improves the situation, with the option to extend this to other areas in Brookfield if successful.

Reducing fly-tipping in alleys

Three alleys on Gisburn Road have been identified as fly-tipping hotspots. We will look to install gates at the alleys between 10–12 and 34–36 to help prevent misuse.

Tackling ASB at Burnsall Place

Burnsall Place has been identified as a hotspot for drug-related anti-social behaviour. We will work with partners to take appropriate action to address this. Plans include clearing the area, exploring a community garden with SoundSkills and installing fencing to improve security and help discourage anti-social behaviour.
