Our Plan for Ribbleton

Ribbleton including Greenlands, Sion Hill, Grange and Trees Estate

Our community plans show how we will work with you to improve the places you live. Each plan is shaped by what matters most to you and reflects the priorities of your neighbourhood.

These plans are based on feedback from Shape Your Space events, pop-ups, surveys, day-to-day conversations, as well as what we see when we are out and about in your area.

Upcoming projects to improve your community

Communal Spaces

Following feedback at the Shape Your Space event, we will be installing a secure gate and repairing surrounding fences to prevent climbing around the Grange estate, helping keep the area safe and well-maintained. The wooden gate installed currently has been repeatedly vandalised, allowing fly tipping and anti-social behaviour.

Dog fouling action and community clean-up

Following feedback at the Shape Your Space event, we will be running a dog fouling action day around the Grange estate and install a new dog foul bin.

Securing communal grassed areas at Maple Grove

Following feedback from tenants, our Tenancy Management Team and the Neighbourhood Policing Team, we will be securing the communal grassed areas on Maple Grove for tenant use only. This will help reduce fly-tipping and anti-social behaviour.

Green Space Transformation at Maple Grove and Alder Grove

Through a Community Fund project, we will transform communal green spaces affected by anti-social behaviour, making them more welcoming for tenants and helping to reduce anti-social behaviour.
