Our community plans show how we will work with you to improve the places you live. Each plan is shaped by what matters most to you and reflects the priorities of your neighbourhood.

These plans are based on feedback from Shape Your Space events, pop-ups, surveys, day-to-day conversations, as well as what we see when we are out and about in your area.

A bit about Ribbleton

Ribbleton is home to Waverley Park, a popular green space for families to enjoy the outdoors. We manage approximately 1,070 homes in Ribbleton.

Friendly Community

"There is a good sense of community, the people and neighbours are really friendly".

"There are lots of facilities nearby, including shops, a chippy and Ribbleton Library. There are good public transport links and footpaths in the area".

"Billington Lodge is fantastic for the community. Everyone helps each other out, providing food and emergency support over bank holidays and weekends".

Communal Spaces

Following feedback at the Shape Your Space event, we will be installing a secure gate and repairing surrounding fences to prevent climbing around the Grange estate, helping keep the area safe and well-maintained. The wooden gate installed currently has been repeatedly vandalised, allowing fly tipping and anti-social behaviour.
