The Spires

Providing supported temporary accommodation to help people experiencing homelessness develop the skills and confidence to sustain a tenancy.

The Spires is a 26-bed supported temporary accommodation scheme that provides a safe, stable place to live for people who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.

Delivered as part of the Government's Rough Sleeping Accommodation Programme (RSAP), The Spires offers more than just accommodation. Every tenant is supported by a dedicated Project Worker who provides tailored support to help them build confidence, develop independent living skills and prepare for a successful move into long-term housing. Tenants can stay at The Spires for up to three years, giving them the time and support they need to rebuild their lives, sustain a tenancy and move on to settled accommodation.

What's on offer at The Spires

Alongside fully furnished, self-contained apartments, The Spires offers a range of shared spaces designed to support tenants on their journey towards independent living, including a communal lounge and dedicated training rooms.

Working with our partners, we provide practical life skills sessions covering topics such as managing a home, budgeting, cooking and maintaining a tenancy. Tenants can also access support to help them find employment or training opportunities and access benefit and legal advice.

The places I had before were just a room, but this is very different, it feels like home. The people here help you, they talk to you and I'm really excited for my future now.
