Celebrating 20 Years of Community
For 20 years, Community Gateway tenants have helped make our communities a better place to live. As part of our 20 year celebrations, we want to recognise the amazing tenants who make a difference every day. Do you know a tenant who goes the extra mile for their neighbours? Someone who brings people together, makes their community a better place or helps shape the services we provide? We want to hear about them!
Nominate them for one of our five awards:
The Sharon Grimshaw Community Champion Award
This award is held in memory of Sharon Grimshaw, who was a valued member of Community Gateway's Engagement Team. Named in her honour, this award recognises an individual who goes above and beyond to support their community, inspiring others and creating a positive and lasting difference.
Good Neighbour Award
Recognising a tenant who consistently shows kindness, consideration and community spirit, supporting those around them and helping to make their neighbourhood a better place to live.
Community Impact Award
Recognising an individual, group or project that makes a difference to our communities, helping to create cleaner, greener and safer neighbourhoods where people are proud to live.
Tenant Voice Champion Award
Recognising a tenant who gives their time, shares their experiences and helps shape the services we provide, making a positive difference for tenants across our communities.
Young Person Award
Recognising a young person (under 18) who is making a difference in their community, inspiring others through their actions and leading by example for their peers.
The important details you need to know
All nominations will close on Sunday 8th November. We will then review all nominations and shortlist our finalists.
Those shortlisted will be invited to join us for a special Awards Evening at Harbour House. As part of the evening, we will celebrate Community Gateway's 20th birthday, look back at what we have achieved together and recognise the tenants who have helped shape our services and communities over the years. Following this we will reveal our award winners and celebrate their achievements!
