Do you want to help shape the future of Community Gateway and make sure tenants' voices are heard?

We are looking for tenants to join our Homes and Services Committee, helping to influence decisions, improve services and ensure tenants' voices are heard. As a Tenant Member, you will work alongside other tenants, Board Members and colleagues to: 

• Influence decisions that affect tenants, homes and communities
  
• Hold us to account for the quality of our housing and support services 
• Review performance and help identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure tenants' views and experiences are considered when decisions are made
• Help shape the future direction of Community Gateway

As part of this role, you will also become a member of our Tenant Voice Group, helping to strengthen the connection between tenant feedback and decision-making.

You will attend approximately eight meetings each year (including Tenant Voice Group meetings), review meeting papers in advance and share your views, experiences and ideas to help inform decisions. In recognition of your time and contribution, you will receive an annual payment of £2,132, plus full training and support to help you develop your skills and knowledge in the role.

We're looking for tenants to join our Tenant Voice Group, helping to make sure that tenants' views are listened to and acted upon. As a member you will help us to: 

• Make sure we are open and transparent with tenants and involve them in decisions 
• Oversee consultation and make sure tenant feedback leads to action
• Monitor our Tenant Voice Tracker and the progress of changes we have committed to
• Review how we support communities and invest in our neighbourhoods
• Oversee how our Customer Services Commitments are delivered to provide a good, consistent service

You will need to attend at least four meetings per year (around eight hours in total), read papers and prepare for meetings in your own time, attend training sessions and share your views, experiences and ideas. In return, you will receive thank you vouchers in recognition of your time and contribution, plus have the opportunity to make real changes, influences our services, learn new skills and support your own personal development.

No previous experience is needed, training and support will be provided.
