We have two new Tenant involvement opportunities, giving you the opportunity to have your voice heard and influence the way we do things

Are you passionate about Community Gateway and making a difference for our tenants and communities? We have two new involvement opportunities that could be perfect for you.

We are looking for tenants who:

Homes and Services Committee

We're looking for tenants to join our Homes & Services Committee, helping to influence decisions, improve services and ensure tenants' voices are heard. As a Tenant Member, you will work alongside other tenants, Board Members and colleagues to: 

  • Influence decisions that affect tenants and communities
  • Review the performance and quality of housing and support services
  • Provide challenge and scrutiny to help improve outcomes
  • Ensure the tenant voice is at the heart of decision making
  • Contribute to the future direction of Community Gateway Association

You will need to attend approximately eight meetings each year, read meeting papers in advance, share your views and experience to help inform decisions and take part in relevant training opportunities. In return, you will receive an annual payment of £2,132, plus full training and support to help you develop your skills and knowledge.

Tenant Voice Group

We're looking for tenants to join our Tenant Voice Group, helping to make sure that tenants' views are listened to and acted upon. As a member you will help us to: 

  • Make sure we are open and transparent with tenants and involve them in decisions 
  • Oversee consultation and make sure tenant feedback leads to action
  • Monitor our Tenant Voice Tracker and the progress of changes we have committed to
  • Review how we support communities and invest in our neighbourhoods
  • Oversee how our Customer Services Commitments are delivered to provide a good, consistent service

You will need to attend at least four meetings per year (around eight hours in total), read papers and prepare for meetings in your own time, attend training sessions and share your views, experiences and ideas. In return, you will receive thank you vouchers in recognition of your time and contribution, plus have the opportunity to make real changes, influences our services, learn new skills and support your own personal development.

No previous experience is needed, training and support will be provided.
