Our Plan for South Ribble
Our community plans show how we will work with you to improve the places you live. Each plan is shaped by what matters most to you and reflects the priorities of your neighbourhood.
These plans are based on feedback from Shape Your Space events, pop-ups, surveys, day-to-day conversations, as well as what we see when we are out and about in your area.
A bit about South Ribble
South Ribble covers a number of areas, including Bamber Bridge, Lostock Hall, Hutton and Newton-with-Scales. Bamber Bridge is home to the popular Withy Grove Park, while Lostock Hall is a well-connected area with easy access to the local train station. Hutton and Newton with Scales feature smaller developments, with nearby green spaces, access to Brickcroft Nature Reserve and a range of community venues. We manage approximately 88 homes across the South Ribble area.
Our comunity information sheets provide useful details about the area, including schools, GP surgeries, community venues and more. View the South Ribble information sheet.

What we have delivered in South Ribble so far
Dog Foul
Our Tenancy Management Team were receiving an increase of reports of dog fouling on one of our new developments in Newton-with-Scales. In response to this we organised an Action Day to talk to tenants about responsible pet ownership and keeping the local community clean and tidy.
Bringing our Services to you
We have held our Gateway To You sessions at Bamber Bridge Library and South Ribble Borough Council to bring our services out in the community for tenants to access.
Community Pop Ups
We regularly carry out our community pop ups across South Ribble to listen to tenants about how we can make our communities cleaner, greener and safer.
Upcoming projects to improve your community
Dog fouling action
Following feedback from tenants, we will be installing a dog waste bin in the Scholars Close area of Lostock Hall.
There has been an increase in reports of dog fouling in the area. Scholars Close is regularly praised by tenants for its cleanliness and we are committed to ensuring the area stays clean and tidy.
The installation of the new bin will encourage responsible waste disposal and help keep the area clean and safe for everyone in the community.
