Our Plan for Ashton

A bit about Ashton

Ashton is home to the historic Preston Docks, as well as the popular Ashton Park. The area has a strong sense of community and offers a mix of green space and local amenities. We manage approximately 1,137 homes in Ashton.

Our community information sheets provide useful details about the area, including schools, GP surgeries, community venues and more. View the Ashton information sheet.

Good Community

"Ashton has a good sense of community. The people are friendly and the area is nice. St Bernards Hub and the park are both community assets. There are lots of facilities and shops in the area and I like that CGA has a strong presence in the area."

Friendly People

"Everyone is friendly, approachable and helpful. There is also a local gym."

Local Support

"Great community spirit and great local shopkeepers. They are always willing to help anybody. St Bernard's Hub and Oaktree Court are great community assets. They bring lots of people together for various events and days."

Local events

"The Hub at St Bernard's helps with isolation and meeting new friends with the activities they put on. The Independent Living Scheme at Baytree Farm is great."
