While out and about in your community tenants raised concerns that the green space behind the bungalows on Burholme Close had become overgrown and difficult to maintain.
The communal space had previously served as an allotment, with a history of winning awards for it's presentation and condition. Tenants shared that the area had been a source of pride when they were able to maintain it.
Over time, the space has become increasingly difficult to maintain, with the greenery becoming a trip hazard and growing into tenants' gardens.
Listening to tenants, our GreenCare Team cleared the space of overgrown beds, marestail and trees, with plans to remove the tarmac so it can be soiled and seeded for tenants to enjoy.
Our GreenCare Team will also manage the space, making it cleaner, greener and safer for tenants to enjoy.
