Margaret spends her time raising money for charity by selling handmade knitted toys, jewellery and cards, laser etching, machine embroidery, and by baking and selling delicious cakes.
She recently calculated that since 2021, she’s donated a whopping £5,5891.20 to multiple small charities across the North West, including Disability Equality Northwest, Keswick Mountain Rescue and RLNI Morecambe. She’s even recently donated a Tyros Keyboard worth £6000 to Preston-based charity Soundskills.
100% of funds collected through Margaret’s sales are either donated directly to the charity or go towards buying items to donate, like a scan and cut machine which she donated to a local craft group.
