What makes Moor Nook a great place to live?
Moor Nook Youth Club
-
Daughter attends youth club, and likes going
-
Work hard at the centre to provide safe spaces every weekday evening
-
Children access the youth hub and they do loads of events for the kids. It helps get them off the streets. My kids love it
-
The youth centre is brilliant. My Grandson comes all the time
Grange Park
I really like the park
Friends of Billington Lodge
They are focusing on the community and want to run the Hub for the right reasons. Everyone is welcome
Community Spirit
-
There is a spirit here where everyone has each others back
-
the people are so friendly, it's helped me settle
-
good neighbours
What should we focus on?
MUGA
-
Large groups of kids hanging around the MUGA, setting off fireworks
-
Keep the MUGA but make it better. It always floods. It would be great if it was 3G.
Dog Fouling
-
Dog fouling issues around the centre, a dog poo bin would help.
-
Farringdon Lane- Whilst walking to children to school, it is very bad
-
All over the estate
Pope Lane/Birkett Drive
-
Lots of ASB at junction. Could CCTV be installed?
-
Youth nuisance
Atrium Estate
-
Lots of ASB. Trees are being ripped up. Nuisance being caused by children from the estate
Green Spaces
-
-
Flower boxes on esate could do with replanting and painting
-
Railings around estate could be painted to look better
-
Green spaces could have more attention paid to and closer eye on detail
