Our Plan for Blackpool

Our community plans show how we will work with you to improve the places you live. Each plan is shaped by what matters most to you and reflects the priorities of your neighbourhood.

These plans are based on feedback from Shape Your Space events, pop-ups, surveys, day-to-day conversations, as well as what we see when we are out and about in your area.

What we have delivered in your area so far

Upcoming projects to improve your community

Residents Meeting

Tenants have asked for opportunities to meet with Community Gateways and discuss local issues. We are exploring ways to set up regular resident meetings to hear your views and work together on improving your neighbourhood.

Dog Fouling Action Day

Tenants have told us that dog fouling is still an ongoing issue. We will look at working with local partners and organisations again to raise awareness of the issue.

Day of Action

We are exploring a Joint Action Day the Police in response to tenant concerns about drug use, youth-related anti-social behaviour and damage to communal areas. The event will focus on encouraging tenants to report issues and taking practical steps to improve safety in our neighbourhood.

Fly Tipping Awareness

We aim to work with Blackpool and Fylde Council to raise awareness of the legal repercussions of illegal fly tipping.

If you would like to get involved in any of these community improvement projects and help make your community an even better place to live, please complete the form below and we will be in touch.
