Our Plan for Ribbleton

Ribbleton including Greenlands, Sion Hill, Grange and Trees Estate

Our community plans show how we will work with you to improve the places you live. Each plan is shaped by what matters most to you and reflects the priorities of your neighbourhood.

These plans are based on feedback from Shape Your Space events, pop-ups, surveys, day-to-day conversations, as well as what we see when we are out and about in your area.

Stage 4 - Next Steps

We are now looking to deliver projects in your area, if you are interested in taking part please get in touch. .

What we have delivered in your area so far

What should we focus on?

Gated Grassed Area

Following feedback from tenants, we are looking at ways to make the gated grassed area on Sycamore Road a safe space for children to play. The space will remain secure, and we will look to involve tenants in helping to maintain the area so it can be enjoyed safely by the community.

Improving Green Spaces
At our Shape Your Space event, you told us that the grassed area on Hesketh Road is often dark and attracts anti-social behaviour. We are exploring options to brighten the space, helping to create a safer and more welcoming environment for the community.
Communal Spaces

Following feedback at the Shape Your Space event, we will be installing a secure gate and repairing surrounding fences to prevent climbing around the Grange estate, helping keep the area safe and well-maintained. The wooden gate installed currently has been repeatedly vandalised, allowing fly tipping and anti-social behaviour.

Dog fouling action and community clean-up

Following feedback at the Shape Your Space event, we will be running a dog fouling action day around the Grange estate and install a new dog foul bin.
