Tree management

We work in partnership with local arboriculture consultants and contractors to deliver a 3-year rolling programme of tree surveys and tree works to safely maintain the 2,500 trees that we are responsible for within our neighbourhoods.

We assess and advise customers with any tree concerns and arrange works where necessary to ensure the safety of people and property. We recognise that maintaining a healthy tree stock is also vital for the local environment and to help fight climate change, therefore, weigh each request for none essential tree works against the environmental impact of carrying the work out. During the winter season, we plant new trees to replace any lost and encourage customers and residents to participate in activities within their neighbourhoods.
