Our Executive team is responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation, ensuring we achieve our aims and objectives. Find out more about each of them below.
Rob Wakefield - Chief Executive
Rob joined CGA in 2011, spending six years as Director of Resources prior to being appointed as Chief Executive in 2017. Rob previously held a number of senior financial positions at housing and regeneration organisations across Greater Manchester.
Rob is a qualified accountant and has significant board room experience having served on the boards of housing, education and charitable bodies. Currently Rob is non-executive on the Board of Arawak Walton, a specialist BME Housing Association operating in Greater Manchester and a Trustee of Preston Vocational Centre.
Louise Mattinson - Executive Director of Customers & Communities
Louise is responsible for CGA’s Development, Repairs, Asset Management and front-line housing services.
Louise joined CGA in 2006 and has over 25 years experience within the Housing Sector across Preston and the Fylde Coast.
Prior to joining CGA, Louise worked at Wyre Housing Association (now part of the Regenda Group) and Fylde Borough Council. Louise is passionate about Customer Service and ensuring all customers are listened to and treated as individuals.
Louise is also currently a Board Member of Preston Domestic Violence Service and has served as a school governor.
Craig Garner - Director Of Resources
Craig joined in March 2018 and has over 30 years sector experience.
Craig is born and bred in Preston and previously held senior finance roles at New Charter Group (now Jigsaw), Regenda Group, Wyre Housing Association and Places for People.
He is a qualified accountant and chartered manager and is responsible for service functions including Finance, IT, Governance and Business Assurance.
