Mayor visits food hub

The Mayor of Preston, Councillor David Borrow, visited our food hub to see the work that we are doing to support CGA customers and communities.

During the visit colleagues showed him around the food hub and how we pack and distribute food parcels across Preston, helping those who are struggling during this difficult time.

We would like to say a special thank you to our partners James Hall & Co Ltd, Spar, Clayton Park Bakery and FareShare, without your generous support we would not be able to carry out this work.

The Mayor said:

"It is absolutely vital and has been for the last three months that we have a network of food banks and food hubs across the city, making sure the most vulnerable people in our city are protected and the work that Gateway are doing is really important as part of that network."
