Gateway praised by tenant champions

Community Gateway Association are celebrating after we were shortlisted in the Tenant Participation and Advisory Service (TPAS) Awards 2021, which recognise outstanding engagement with customers and best practice in the housing sector.

CGA are up for an award in two categories - Excellence in Employment and Skills and Outstanding Tenant Engagement (Under 10,000 homes) for our Gateway2Employment and Gateway2Engagement programmes.

Dave Yates, Chair of the Board and himself a tenant said:

“I am thrilled that once again CGA’s achievements have been recognised at a national level. The Gateway model puts customers at the heart, with plenty of opportunities for people to air their views. The organisation knows full well that it’s only by carefully listening and responding to feedback that they can be sure they are delivering the services people want and need, in ways that suit them. Following customer consultation, for example, they have increased their online presence and also invested in a wider range of ways for people to get involved – whether that be a five-minute survey or joining a committee. Teams now also have a greater presence out in the very heart of our communities. The TPAS awards celebrate all that is good in customer engagement, and I wish them all the best for the finals in October.”
