Supported Housing Week is all about celebrating the amazing work housing associations do to provide essential care and support. A home is about creating the foundations for safety and security, where people can live independently, feel supported and thrive.
This year, we are joining the call for a brighter future for supported housing and shining a light on our services and the tenants who call supported housing home.
Real Stories, Real Impact
We had the pleasure of chatting with Mary, Brenda and Robert, tenants from a few of our Independent Living Schemes. They shared how supported housing has been life-changing for them, offering the independence and peace of mind they need in later life. Their stories, like so many others, highlight why supported housing is so important.
At Community Gateway Association, we offer Independent Living and Extra Care schemes, providing tailored support for our tenants. Our focus is helping tenants maintain their independence in a safe, welcoming environment, whether they need help with everyday tasks or just enjoy the comfort of knowing support is there if they need it.
