Environmental Policy

Statement of Intent

Organisations do not exist in isolation. It is recognised that our work activities and services, and the ways in which we choose to deliver them, may have short term, and longer term, impacts on the environment, our employees and local communities.

The Board, Chief Executive, and Executive Management Team of Community Gateway Association acknowledge Our moral and legal duties to reduce negative impacts on the environment that may arise from the conduct of our undertaking.

We are committed to taking positive action to encourage and support all employees
in minimising the environmental impacts associated with all of our activities.
Additionally, we believe that we can also make a positive impact by helping to raise
awareness and understanding of environmental issues, and facilitating environmental
improvement measures, across all of our communities.

In accordance with the overall goal of sustainability, we will promote measures designed to help all stakeholders meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
